Programme Details
The objective of the programme is to bring migrant workers' children into mainstream education.

Migrant workers' children at construction sites, and temporary slums

Impact
  • 504 children (242 girls and 262 boys) in total benefitted from SoW and Educational Activity Centre (EAC)
  • In 162 SoW, 150 children (93 %) have 'as expected' and 'above expected' learning levels
  • Out of the 42 children attending the Study and Literacy Class. 9 (21%) children are performing 'above expected' learning levels; 19 (45%) children are in the 'as expected' learning level
  • 29 children from SoW were enrolled in school during the year. 18 children from Educational Activity Centre were enrolled in PMC schools during this year.
