No one field, or strategy is enough to address the complex and interrelated issues of sustainability. Hence, the Tata group has become a member of several global initiatives and consortia to draw on resources from a multidisciplinary network of individuals, academia and organizations that are ahead of the curve and have expertise on growing range of collective ESG challenges. In addition, group level memberships enable efficient and effective sharing of knowledge across the group companies and provide opportunity for consistent and coherent 'one Tata' view to the external world.
The Tata group has sought membership of global sustainability organizations that have knowledge and influence and over the last couple of years have become a part of their governance and shaping the national and global agenda.
