Programme Details
ANEW is a school transformation initiative which is reforming primary education in 110 government schools by equipping teachers with evolved teaching practices, integrating technology into the curriculum of first-generation learners, improving learning levels of students, reducing dropout rates, and enhancing community ownership. It is implemented in collaboration with Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) through Gandhi Fellows.
The programme also provides enhanced the pedagogical understanding, leadership skills and digital enablement for Teachers and Head Teachers to create future-ready education leaders. Nearly, 70% of the Head Teachers are driving innovative practices through classroom engagement and regularly accessing the government platforms digitally in order to reduce the burden of manual data entry. To bridge the digital divide, all the schools are equipped with Tab-Based Adaptive Learning Systems. With the introduction of mobile-based, customised and gamified tools that reinforces language literacy there is an increased access to and ownership of self-learning among users.
