Our Approach
Supply Chain Sustainability is a key area of focus for the Tata group and TSG is consistently working on awareness creation, capability building, and direct advisory to Tata companies on the subject. Over the last few years, TSG has curated webinars on the case for and approach towards sustainable supply chain along with relevant case studies from across the world. TSG has also designed and conducted a series of capacity building workshops focused on unpacking key concepts, understanding potential risks / opportunities across supply chains and sustainable sourcing.
Tata companies are actively engaging with their supply chain partners on ESG issues through dedicated policies, guidelines and codes of conduct. The engagement goes beyond audits and assessments and focuses on supporting value chain partners in enhancing their sustainability performance through capability building and knowledge sharing. In addition to working with suppliers, companies are also focusing on sourcing materials that are conflict-free and sustainable in nature.
